Registration & Login — Create Your Account

An account is not required to start using Video Downloader Plus. You can detect streams and run basic downloads the moment the extension is installed. An account becomes necessary when you want to store videos in your cloud library, sync across devices, or manage a subscription.

Google Sign-In

If you prefer not to manage a separate password, you can register through Google instead:

1. Click Sign in with Google on the registration or login page
2. Choose the Google account you want to use and grant Video Downloader Plus access
3. Your account is created immediately — no email verification step required

Sign in

Go to vidow.io/login and enter your email and password. If you registered through Google, use the Sign in with Google button instead. If two-factor authentication is active on your account, you will be prompted for a verification code after your password is accepted.

Password reset

Forgot your password? Here is how to recover access:

1. Click Forgot your password? on the login page
2. Type in your account email address
3. Open the reset email that arrives in your inbox
4. Follow the link and choose a new password

What does an account unlock?

Delete your account

Account deletion is available at vidow.io/settings/profile. The action is immediate and cannot be reversed. It will:

• Erase all personal data tied to your account
• Cancel any active subscription
• Remove saved videos and cloud storage connections
