    Video Downloader Plus has built-in retry logic for unstable connections. HLS downloads can resume from the point they stopped rather than restarting from the beginning. If a download still fails:

    1. Refresh the page and let Video Downloader Plus re-detect the stream
    2. Try a lower quality level — smaller segments are more tolerant of slow connections
    3. Check your internet connection
    4. Contact support if the problem keeps happening

    **A failed download doesn't count against your daily limit.** Only completed downloads use one of your free daily HD downloads, so a download that errors out — a protected stream, a dropped connection — costs you nothing and you're free to try again. If a failed download then succeeds on a retry, it counts as a single download.
